My name is Yoshi (just like in the Mario games) and I am an astrophysicist working on detecting and characterising exoplanets through transits observations with TESS, CHEOPS (and soon PLATO) and radial velocities with ESPRESSO, HARPS and HARPS-N (and soon HARPS3). I am a PhD Student at the University of Warwick working on the detection and characterisation of planets around compositionally diverse stars with Thomas Wilson. Currently, I am observing with WEAVE on the William Herschel Telescope on La Palma as part of the ING studentship. Last year, I completed my M.Sc. at the University of Warwick, during which I focused on known systems in the PLATO field and PLATO’s discovery potential. Previously, I was a Research Assistant in the TESS Group at MIT and a Visiting Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics. I completed my undergraduate in Physical Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in 2022.
